COOKING CLASSES & OTHER EVENTS THE CO-OP IS INVOLVED IN

One of our missions is to support our local community by being present and accessible in as many places possible. Not only can you find us Saturday mornings, June through September from 9am - 12pm, at the Ticonderoga Area Farmer's Market, you can also find us at many area festivals in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. You can also find us in The Co-op Kitchen! Join us for one of our cooking classes.

ABOUT CHEF MIKE TIGHE

 

Mike has a lifelong interest and passion for cooking. After retiring and moving to the Adirondacks he decided to focus on refining his culinary skills.  He enrolled in the SUNY Adirondack Culinary Program and earned a Culinary and Baking Arts degree. 

 

After graduation he worked at Shepards at Erlowest, a AAA Four Diamond restaurant in Bolton Landing.  Mike then led the culinary efforts at Ledge Hill Brewery designing the initial menu and serving as chef from 2022-2023.

 

Mike is frequently the Guest Chef at Ledge Hill brewery helping them expand their menu. He is also partnering with the Ticonderoga Natural Foods Coop to teach culinary classes. He has hosted highly successful classes on charcuterie and cheese boards, pasta making, ravioli, Asian dumplings and Thai inspired dishes.
